Q: I love to
eat and I do understand that diet is a big thing, what diet is best
for me?
A: First off, we call dieting, “balanced nutrition.” Dieting
inherently means temporary, balanced nutrition inherently means
eating well for life. We also believe in eating those things you
just cannot say no to but try to moderate the frequency of those
darn treats. To answer the question, we take the things you already
eat and change the proportions to better nourish the body while
still seducing the palette.

Q: What can I
do to loose some weight around my thighs and tummy?
A: Eating right will do more for you than anything, however, coupled
with moderate resistance training and one of many cardiovascular
options, success is immediate.

Q: I just
want to be healthier, I here so many things, what is the bottom
line?
A: This is a great question. Iron Works calls this wellness and the
best thing anyone can do is move. We like to say, “ doing something
is better than nothing.” Any time you get up and move whether at
home or work that is something. One of my favorites is while on the
phone get a headset and walk around the house or office.

Q: When I do
commit to a program, what kind of exercise would be the, “best bang
for the buck.”
A: Another great question. When you have the best most experienced
trainers anywhere that love to share information, it is inevitable
to come to some universal truths about foundational exercises that
work for everyone. And this is exactly what we did. Our fitness
director Rick Emerson has a copy write on just such an instrument
that has been approved by literally every person in the health,
wellness and prevention industry. Our “Foundation Fitness” protocols
start at the core of what all wellness and performance stem from,
strong flexible posture… period.

any thing I can do to get ready for this coming season, avoid
injuries and go in feeling fit?
A: All of our trainers have a lifetime of experience in competitive
sport; some also have formal education in sport specific training.
Training for sport is a great way to feel confidant going into the
activity, our trainers not only get you fit but we emphasize injury
prevention as a key element to enjoying the season. Whichever season
is upon us we have trainers that can get you ready using NSCA state

Q: My kids
play sports year round from snow skiing to baseball to equestrian,
is there anything for them?
A: We have trainers that run sport specific clinics all year long
focusing on the sports pertinent to the season in play as well as
next season’s activities. Kids present a unique challenge; you must
be conscious of age related over-stressing and focus on things that
are not contraindicated for adolescents. We have the tools and the
know how to make sure your kids become the little athletes they want
to be. Parents usually like the confidence and positive attitude
that comes with the discipline and encouragement of one of our
camps. We believe that if you just give your self the chance to try
you can achieve anything and we prove it. Not only do we staff the
best trainers for all ages we come with the confidence of athletic
trainers an EMT and an exercise therapists to make sure we don’t
over do it and if there is a problem, BAM, we get right on it.
